In 1997 Matthew Davis and Saqib Hassan launched a successful workplace learning and development consultancy  called TrainingFolks.  Over the years , each began to diversify their personal portfolios with investments into real estate both in Canada and the United States. 

Given their success in running a profitable business and with the entrepreneurial spirit alive and well they decided it was only natural to transition these passive investments and operationalize into another active business – one that was unrelated to the training industry and would further build their success in the real estate market. 

With that, they began to acquire additional residential and commercial properties.  Leveraging their existing network of contractors, financiers and real estate brokers, they decided to create a new business called PropertyFolks which continues to grow with new projects every day.
